It all started with an owl-shaped cork board from the $1 section at Target courtesy of my friend Nicole
 I added some googley eyes
Attach some ribbon to the back side with staples

 Add some ribbons for flare
Hang it up on the bathroom door
Now I just have to figure out what I will use it for :)

Diaper Palooza

With the abundance of diapers and fellow pregnant ladies in my life, I decided to attempt to make a Diaper Bundle that I saw on Pinterest for a friend's upcoming baby shower.  There were no instructions but I think I figured it out.

Supplies:
  • 2 receiving blankets
  • 14 diapers
  • Rubberbands
  • 2 diaper pins
  • Ribbon

Instructions:
1. Fold receiving blankets length-wise.  They should be as wide as a rolled up diaper.

2. Stack 2 receiving blankets on top of each other.

3. Roll up diapers and place rubberband around them.
Band no more than 3 diapers together so that the rubberband doesn't snap.

4. Place the first row of diapers (5 diapers total) in the middle of blankets.

5. Stack the bundles of diapers like so 5, 4, 3, 2.

6. Pull up the sides of the blankets on the sides of the diapers.
Attach 2 ends of the blanket with the diaper pin.  Do it to both sides.

7. Tie a ribbon around the tops of blanket.

Favorite Professional Photos from Baby Shower #1

One of the best gifts that I received at our Baby Shower hosted by my Mom, Sister, & Grandma Fitz was to have the event photographed by the amazing Chantel Ferraro.  She captured all the little details that I look for when I'm taking photos and created some great shots that I already have framed around my house.  Check out Chantel's website www.dream2beimage.com or find her on Facebook!
Thanks again Chantel for your amazing work!!
