Baby Backer Bump

It feels like just yesterday that I was driving downtown on a Sunday afternoon with these two to shoot their engagement photos.  Time flies when you're having fun...

The newest addition to the family will be here before we know it.  Brian & AJ braved the chilly December morning weather this past Sunday to capture this precious time in their lives.  I'm so excited for them to become parents and experience the best type of love in the word - the love for your child.

When I asked AJ if she had any special requests for the photoshoot, this was her only one...
Such a fitting photo as I know that Baby Brooke is already so loved by her mommy & daddy.  What a lucky girl you are. Can't wait  to meet you and kiss your sweet little face.

Welcome Avery

When I was trying to have a baby, one of my closest friends told me that my husband and I were the type of people who were meant to be parents.  I felt the same way about Melissa & Bob when I first met them.  They were meant to be parents and now that they are, they are naturals with their sweet little Peanut - Avery Harper.  Born just a few days after Thanksgiving, this little girl is so lucky to have the parents that she does.
Welcome to the world sweet little Avery!

Merry Christmas Jacobsens!

Langert Family

It seems like just yesterday that I was shooting Daphne's newborn photos and now here she is turning 1.  This past weekend, I met up with the Langerts for their shoot and who would have thought that we would have a 60 degree day in mid-November?  What luck! Here are a few favorites.  Enjoy!

Favorites from St. James Farm

As the month of October is coming to an end, I wanted to share some of my favorite shots from a few of my photo shoots at St. James Farm.  It's not too late to book your photo shoot with me at this gorgeous location!

Annual Family Photo

For the past few years, our family has taken a big family photo when we celebrate Sandy (aka Grandma Sandy) and Rick's (aka Uncle Rick) October birthdays.  By now, everyone knows that St. James Farm is my favorite place to take photos so that is where we ended up again this year.  With my trusty tripod & remote, I crossed my fingers and hoped for the best!

With my camera in hand again, we got a great pic of Grandma Sandy & Papa Mike with all the grandkids.  This time next year, there will be another little girl in the mix courtesy of Brian & AJ. Looks like Papa Mike has an open arm to hold her :)
