Let's get Civil Unionized!

This past Saturday, I attended and photographed the Civil Union ceremony for Lorry & Angela.  With rain in the forecast, a last minute venue change, and some tardy flowers, you would think that all of this would put a damper on the day.  Not when you are dealing with Lorry & Angela.  They smiled and laughed their way through these hiccups remembering why they were doing all of this. The sun shined down on them as they exchanged their heartfelt and passionate vows.  Your words were moving and inspiring. Cheers to the Lorry & Angela!

I love this photo because of the kissing shadow behind them

And now for a joke...

A photographer went to a socialite party in New York.  As he entered the front door, the host said, "I love your pictures - they're wonderful; you must have a fantastic camera."  He said nothing until dinner was finished, then: "That was a wonderful dinner; you must have a terrific stove." - Sam Haskins.

I love everything about this.  It's not just the camera folks.  It's who is behind the camera.

Thank you for my cities

A few weeks ago, I finished the new name banner for my friend Kristin's son, Milo.  I got to see his new room all put together this weekend and was thrilled to see how it all came together.  The best part was literally the first few moments that I was at the Flores house.  As soon as I came in, Milo came running up and said, "Thank you for my cities in my room."  He was referring to his new name banner and came up with this all on his own.  Oh how I love this little boy and soon to be big brother!  Check out the pics I took of the room designed by Kristin & Eric.  As always, amazing job!

Now that the new signs are hung, it is time for baby!  Can't wait to meet you Leo.

4 years & counting

Brad & I celebrated our 4th Wedding Anniversary on 9/15/11.
It is always fun to relive how amazing our wedding day was by looking through the pictures...

We have tumbled & kissed our way through each of the four seasons.
And sitting atop from where we started...may we never stop rolling.
The best is yet to come...

As amazing as the day was, I'm even more amazed at how much more I love Brad today than I did when I said, "I Do" on 9/15/07.  Our priest always told us to not to just plan a wedding, but plan for a marriage.  Our wedding was one day, a great day, but our marriage has been so much more.  We have changed and grown as individuals but more importantly as a couple.  I'm proud to say that Brad and I planned a great wedding but I've realized over time that we planned for an even better marriage.
